The music of AR Rahman gives the scenes life and heightens the romantic atmosphere of the movie. The on-screen chemistry between Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon, who play the key roles, enlivens the scene and draws the audience in.

The narrative seems to stall, especially in the second half, with characters acting in predictable ways.
