The most recent addition to Netflix, Black Knight, is the perfect new K-drama to binge watch. This romantic fantasy drama, which features the brilliant actor Kim Woo Bin, will transport you through time and space while exploring themes of love and fate.

The main character, Moon Soo Ho, is portrayed by Kim Woo Bin. He is a prosperous businessman who receives an odd inheritance from his grandfather. He meets Jung Hae Ra, played by Shin Se Kyung, a jovial and upbeat worker at a travel agency, as he transitions into his new career. The two fall in love right away, but their relationship is hampered by the mysterious guy known as the Black Knight who appears in their lives.

As the narrative progresses, we find out how Moon Soo Ho and Jung Hae Ra are connected by a terrible incident from their previous lives. Every existence, a mythical figure called The Black Knight, portrayed by actor Kim Rae Won, has been tasked with keeping them apart. Moon Soo Ho, however, is adamant about ending the pattern and spending all of his time with Jung Hae Ra.

Kim Woo Bin, who shows he’s more than just a handsome face, gives one of the film’s best performances. He gives his role depth and nuance, expressing the hardships of a man divided between obligation and love. Shin Se Kyung does an excellent job of portraying the attractive and independent Jung Hae Ra.

In addition to having excellent performance, Black Knight has beautiful cinematography and special effects that immerse viewers in a fantasy setting. The drama also features a lovely soundtrack that goes well with the dramatic parts of the narrative.

Even though Black Knight has several shortcomings, such as slow pacing and a confusing plot, it’s still a fun movie to see if you like romantic comedies and fantasy. You’ll continue to think about the show’s themes of fate and reincarnation beyond the last episode.
